Raukura was born in Wellington and raised between the East Coast and Wainuiomata.  She comes from whakapapa that spans many places - from the mountain light of Hikurangi, through the forests of Panekire and Maniapoto, to the salt winds of Ngāi Tai and Pito-one. These roots remind her that financial wellbeing is intergenerational, and that what you do now shapes the future for your whānau.

Raukura is a mum of three, and they are the reason why she began learning more about money, investing, and the opportunities many families take for granted but weren’t part of their upbringing. Now, she is committed to helping others access that same knowledge in a 'no frills' way.

When she is not working, she is with her whānau doing 'things' which usually involves her kids and the wider family or tending to our whenua.

She believes our biggest challenge is that money hasn’t been a normal conversation in many households. Her goal is to change this by educating and giving whānau the clarity to make confident, informed decisions.

Raukura’s approach is straightforward, relational, and grounded in real experience: empowering whānau to build security, confidence and long‑term wellbeing, whatever that looks like for them!
